Chattanooga Celebrates Opening of BlueCross Healthy Place at St. Elmo Park
Residents of Chattanooga recently gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the BlueCross Healthy Place at St. Elmo Park.
A New Chapter for a Beloved Park
The City of Chattanooga applied for a BlueCross Healthy Place grant with the hope of improving equipment and access in St. Elmo Park, a well-loved community space. The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation invested $750,000 in the project, and the completed space features a challenge course, fitness station, swing set, accessible play areas and a community lawn.
